Solutions Journalism Plus Course should cover more journalists and the training should both be in person and online. SOJO is important as it empowers the community to bring solutions to their social problems. SOJO moves the audience more and improve the mental health of both the writer and the reader. The course is very educative as it equipped me, as a journalist, with skills to look within my community and identify problems affecting them, identify stakeholders who can supported. More organization should support Nigerian journalists to embrace SOJO

Learning from the wealth of knowledge of professionals in the field of journalism has been a great journey. I appreciate every effort made to be well grounded by the organisers. Most especially, Dr. Rasheed has been a patient facilitator. At every point scholars make an opinion on questions asked or experience sharing he has an input to give, making us have a retentive memory about a particular idea. The SoJo course is an eye opener to every individual who seek to be concerned about issues within their community. The class is an interesting one that gives insight to foundational lessons on Solution journalism, community journalism, solution mapping among others. Solution journalism is a path to a voice that needs to be heard at the grassroot level. Learning from professional and experienced facilitators is a privilege and ease to practice Journalism.

IT WAS A ROLLERCOASTER and definitely thrilling!!! How would I have known about community profiling or news reviewing in the world of scalpel and needles if not for ISERH SoJo? Being a science student, I was able to learn outside my field. Thanks to SoJo. All I want to say is thank you ISERH and ABITOCITTA. I would like to say to all my fellow science students out there, especially us in medics, sometimes learning things outside your field helps with the crazy rush of our stressful daily life and I feel journalism would be a perfect way to do that. Hence I would recommend SOJO
