Special thanks and profound gratitude to all the facilitators of Sojo for bringing their knowledge, experience, and expertise to this class. Many people like myself are interested in telling our stories but don't know how to, so, this Sojo class was the eye opener I needed to do so. It really opened my eyes to methods of reporting what my community is facing. I find it easy to write, shoot and record my community's story especially in this world of social media.

I am 65yrs old, I had Only primary education 1968 to 1975 as I was not opportune to further my education due to my family background that do not have value for education then, this did not make me stocked to the limit of what my parent could offer to me in education,so I took on myself on self building,I begin to read what is readable, listen to what is listenable, from there I got myself trained in my own little way,I was introduced to ISERH by my son and I grap the opportunity. I had learned on how to relies on four pillars of solution Journalism which are. 1. Response.2. Outcome. 3. Evidence 4. insights. The first pillar, describes the action steps toward a solution, such as preventive measures to be taken to help curb the spread of problem, I learned about solutions story focuses on a RESPONSE to a social problem and how that response has worked or why it hasn't. Reporting distills the lessons that makes the response relevant and accessible to others.
