A WORD OF PEACE TO AS-SALAFY INSTITUE'S STUDENTS BY SCHOLAR HABEEBULLAH Habeebullah Abiodun MIFTAUDEEN (Class 5)

Scholar Habeebullah Abiodun Miftaudeen, a graduate of Islamic Studies from University of Ibadan lectured 22 students of Shit As-Salafy Institute, Muslim Area, Ibadan, Oyo State on PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE: IMPLICATION ON NATION BUILDING, in partial fulfilment of the requirements to graduate from ISERH Undergraduate Studies Class 5.

He first took his time to sensitise the management of the school on ISERH Undergraduate Studies and the effect of his capstone project on the peace situation in Nigeria. While engaging the students, he shared the words of a French Sociologist - Emile Durkheim - 'Society can survive only if there exists among its members a sufficient degree of homogeneity; education perpetuates and reinforces this homogeneity by fixing in the mind of the child, from the beginning, the essential similarities that social life demands'. He shared the three main differences that affect the globe at large and Africa in particular: Social, Religion, and Race/Ethnicity. A nation without understanding and respect amongst her citizens would not know peace. At the end of his lecture, he enjoined the students to concentrate on what connect us as humans, and manage our differences intellectually and politely.

Having successfully implemented this project, he has hereby fulfilled a part of the requirements expected of him to graduate and get inducted as an ISERH Associate Ambassador, and if all things being equal, he shall have unrestricted access to the resources available on the Ambassadors Portal - starting from Sunday 29th of November, 2020, immediately after their convocation and induction ceremony on the class platform.

ISERH Undergraduate Studies is a FREE online course where African undergraduates and fresh graduates are trained (via whatsapp class) by professionals, for a period of 5 months (minimum) on leadership, socio-economic, relationship and entrepreneurial skills. The students of the course are referred to as SCHOLARS, and upon the fulfilment of 75% attendance rate, 50% facebook engagement rate, filling of online graduation form, and implementation and reporting of capstone project, they get convocated and inducted as ISERH Associate Ambassadors. This gives them unrestricted access to ISERH Ambassadors Portal (http://ambassadors.iserh.org) where they can freely have one-on-one chats with a group or individual Ambassadors and their facilitators, have access to internship, fellowship, jobs adverts; audio/video lectures; books; and lots more.

From all of us at the Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH), we say 'Congratulations to him' and as well give credit to Mr. Abayomi Abdulraheem for facilitating the training of our scholars on ‘Peaceful Coexistence: Implications on Nation Building’ .
